The Nimea Kaya Healing Center is integrally connected to our Peruvian Non-Profit Organization, Selva Spirit. Any monies taken through the Center are accepted as donations. (RUC: 20394013049)
Where your money goes: Since the inception of our healing center, we have always carried the commitment to have our efforts benefit the whole. Between the Nimea Kaya Healing Center and our Selva Spirit NGO, we have approximately 15-20 local Peruvians workers. The monies that come into our Center go towards giving them an above average pay rate and benefits. We support various community projects in our local area. First, our Water Purification Drops program is now treating hundreds of people per month with amazing results. Funds go towards purchasing an abundant supply of this product to be distributed in our local health programs by trained staff and nurses.
Second, funds go toward our Clean Water Project. Our funds are going towards implementing new wells for local indigenous communities down river to provide clean drinking water. Funds go toward digging wells, constructing water towers and purchasing water tanks and water pumps. Thank you for supporting the vision of health and sustainability in our local area of the Amazon!
For your travels throughout Peru we recommend bringing crisp, clean bills. Most money exchangers will not accept bills with tears or creased folds. We highly encourage our guests to bring extra money, Peruvian Soles, so that you may support the local community by purchasing some of their handmade crafts & textiles.
TRAVEL INFO
Flight Info: For your international flight you will arrive in Lima, Peru. From Lima you will take a one hour flight to the city of Pucallpa. We recommend flying with Latam Airlines, arriving the first day the retreat begins. Two of our lead facilitators will meet the guests at the Airport and bring them to the Center. Transportation back to the airport is included on the departure day. After we have confirmed your reservation with us we will send you a copy of the specific flight itinerary that we suggest for your Peru in country flight.
It is necessary to have at least 6 months valid remaining time on one’s passport to enter Peru.
If you are flying to Peru from a country outside of the USA and your flight has a layover in the USA, you may need to acquire an ESTA Visa to be able to travel through the USA without issues. Click here for more info.
Passport & Visa Info: A Passport is required for your international travel. Processing time usually takes 8-11 weeks or you can expedite the application process to receive the passport within 5-7 weeks. You will receive a visa upon entering the country as you pass through customs. You can receive up to 90 days entry per year.
