Sisters of the Vine ~ 9-Day Retreat
A Sacred Ayahuasca Retreat for Women
Heal, Transform, and Reconnect with Your Inner Power in the Heart of the Amazon.
April 2nd-10th, 2025

Join us for Sisters Of The Vine ~ a 9 Day, 8 Night Women’s Ayahuasca Retreat at the Nimea Kaya Retreat Center in the Amazon of Pucallpa, Peru. This special Women’s Retreat is held and facilitated by Candace and Ariel and will include 4 Ayahuasca Ceremonies led by our Shipiba Maestras. In partnership with Ayahuasca, the land, and the Shipiba Maestra’s – Candace and Ariel weave somatic and embodiment practices, womb work, song and dance, and divine feminine energy into the trauma-informed space they hold.
This retreat is designed to create a sacred space for growth, healing, and empowerment where you can connect deeply with yourself, Mother Ayahuasca, and a community of like-minded individuals. During the 9 days, there will be containers throughout to share and co-create with other women in the group. There will be spaces to support your processing and integration through embodiment journeys such as a womb clearing, yoni steam, and a cacao ceremony. Additionally there will be spaces to embrace quiet introspective time through mediation, yoga, and sound healing.
The time is now to come back to sisterhood and community. To remember another way – before we were severed from the earth, our bodies, our wombs, our intuition, our collective power. To come back into connection and remember our innate belonging. Join us in these sacred lands of Peru to return home to yourself and community. To receive the loving support and guidance from Mother Ayahuasca, the jungle, the Shipiba Maestra’s, and the vibration of sisterhood.

Retreat Facilitators

The Women’s Ayahuasca Retreat will be led by Candace Garland and Ariel Szabo. Ariel and Candace were brought together by Mother Ayahuasca in 2020 to hold transformative women’s retreats. In partnership with Ayahuasca, the sacred land, and the Shipibo Maestra’s, they infuse these trauma-informed containers with somatic and embodiment practices, womb work, sacred song and dance, and divine feminine energy.

Candace Garland
Candace is a medicine women, ecstatic dance DJ, and a devotee to Mother Earth. Candace was born in Germany and lived in many countries including Saudi Arabia, Portugal, the Netherlands, and the United States. Candace first came to Nimea Kaya in 2018 to heal from traumas, depression, and self limiting beliefs that were blocking her from truly living life. Her journey with Ayahuasca has been transformative and the medicine path continues to reveal gifts that allow more presence and wholeness in her life. She is committed to the path of healing, having undergone extensive trainings and Master Plant dietas, and has a deep reverence for plant medicine and the indigenous tribes who have been the guardians of these sacred rituals. For the last 6 years Ayahuasca opened many doors for her, leading her to serve plant and animal medicines with the intention to help guide others to come back to their truth and sovereignty. She likes to incorporate intentional sound and movement in trauma informed healing spaces to create freedom in our hearts, minds, and bodies. Candace has been facilitating retreats at Nimea Kaya for 5 years and in the Sacred Valley hosting Plant Medicine Women’s Retreats. Passionate about community and connecting to our roots, she believes Nimea Kaya provides the foundations we need to evolve as a collective. She feels eternally grateful to have the honor to be of service at Nimea Kaya and to support others on their healing journey.

Ariel Szabo
Ariel is a cosmic midwife of the soul. She holds and guides you over thresholds as you birth new ways of being in yourself and the world. Ariel works at the intersections of sensual somatics, womb-work, sacred sexuality and plant medicine to de-armor physical, emotional, and energetic spaces within yourself so you can live a life in love. Ariel is an artist and musician. Formally trained as a somatic psychedelic therapist, somatic sex educator, and sexological bodyworker; she weaves together spiritual and western teachings. Integrating the wisdom she receives from the consciousness of the plants and elements she sits with and western knowledge on working with the nervous system and trauma. Ariel is a student of indigenous practices and values pleasure and expanded states of consciousness as potent medicine with transformative potential. Ariel came into this work, and into partnership with Ayahuasca, through her own rebirth and transformation. She has walked the path of re-inhabiting her body, liberating her soul, and freeing her voice with the support of the plants. Now, she walks with others, holding the light, as they do the same.

Our Women’s Ayahuasca Retreat will be guided by female Shipiba Maestras that have decades of experience working with Ayahuasca and several master teacher plants.

Maria Lopez

Ercilia Flores
Rosenda is from a local Shipibo community, Santa Isabel de Bahuanisho, and comes from a long line of healers in her family. She began to feel called to heal others with Madre Ayahuasca over when she was 30 years old. She started dieting with master teacher plans 18 years ago. She has dedicated her life to gaining wisdom through working with plants and her teachers (maestros) Cecilio and Deodemero. With her extensive experience in this healing practice, she continues to diet many plants of the Amazon to expand her wisdom, knowledge and abilities to be able to heal those she works with in ceremony.
Maria is Rosenda’s cousin and is also comes from a lineage of powerful healers. Her parents and grandparents have all dedicated their lives to learning the art of plant medicine healing. She has felt strongly called to carry out their legacy and continue learning more about the plants so that she can help others heal. Maria started to diet plants when she was 19 years old and now has over 30 years experience working with Ayahuasca and other master teacher plants. She has traveled extensively around Europe offering ceremony. Maria is also a midwife and helps many women in her community.

Hear from Women Who Have Transformed Their Lives

“Candace and Ariel: these women are powerful and strong. They are incredibly real. For me that was a much needed breath of fresh air. And a permission slip to be vulnerable with myself and receive what I was hoping to: an opening of myself, of my own heart, and a deepening into my authentic self. I feel so blessed to have their guidance and witness them in their authentic selves as well. Everything that I got out of this experience was exactly what I needed. I’m taking home with me a new found inspiration and motivation to continue on this path.” -Zia
“This retreat was the most life-changing experience I’ve ever had. It transformed me from the inside out. Since being home, everything is shifting and aligning and it feels so incredible to be in my own skin and love the skin I’m in.” – Kolbi
“I have so much to take back with me. The lessons I’ve learned, the wisdom I’ve been given from the land, plants, and the beautiful souls I’ve gotten to share this experience with. The embodiment I’ve come to feel. Things I didn’t even know I needed, I have found here. Everything has been perfect.” -Trista
“I wanted to get in touch with my feminine side. To heal that part of me that has been hidden for so many years. I had lost touch with what it means to be truly in my feminine and to have a voice. Being here, I have been able to get a sense of confidence and root into who I really am. I have made so many connections to truly find sisterhood and healing in community.” – Vicky
